Sometimes going for a walk pays off. We were wandering around Morningside Heights in New York City the other day and came across one of the oldest structures in Manhattan; the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine.

If that weren’t enough, and if by serendipity, we were there at 1pm on Monday which is exactly the only other time outside of mass that there is a full 1 hour organ recital. There’s no admission fee, though there is a suggested donation, and you are free to roam the incredible building.

Enjoy these photos, stop by if you can, and please excuse the hat hair!
